Artemis

Artemis

Overview

Artemis is the latest robot I designed on Team Juice 16236. However, unlike the previous seven robots where I was responsible for the entire design and assembly, I focused on taking a step back from assembly and tuning to prioritize team sustainability. Consequently, I shifted my focus toward developing a superstructure foundation centered on a commercial off-the-shelf approach rather than the custom parallel-plate design. This architecture enables greater modularity, allowing our team’s rookies to make changes without the need to redesign or refabricate plates. This not only cuts down on iteration times but also allows them to embrace a more hands-on learning approach.

I am currently working on version 2 of Artemis, targeting a third win at the NorCal Regional Championship at the end of February, while simultaneously mentoring the rookies as they continue the development of Artemis v1.

Artemis(v1) led Team Juice 16236 to the following:

  • Finalist Alliance Captain at the 2026 Folsom #1 Qualifying Tournament
  • Top 10 in Northern California based on Offensive Power Rating (OPR)
